Overview

The Spantik Base Camp trek is a thrilling adventure that leads trekkers to the base of Spantik (Golden Peak), one of the prominent peaks of the Karakoram Range. Located in Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan, the trek offers stunning views of rugged mountain landscapes, glaciers, alpine meadows, and remote villages. The Spantik mountain, at 7,027 meters (23,056 feet), is famous for its golden glaciers, which shine under the sun, making it a visual delight for trekkers

Itinerary

Day 1. Islamabad

Upon arrival at the Islamabad International Airport, transfer to hotel. Half day city tour.

Day 2. Islamabad–Chilas

Altitude (Skardu): 2250 m
Flight: Islamabad–Skardu (1 hour) or Drive to Chilas (10-12 hours)
After arrival in Skardu or Chilas, transfer to Hotel 

Day 3. Chilas–Skardu

Reserve day or drive from Chilas to Skardu (7-8 hours) 2300m,  Hotel 

Day 4. Skardu Valley

Sightseening of Skardu Valley  2300m, Hotel 

Day 5. Skardu–Arandu

Drive  to Arandu (6-7 hours)    3165m, Tents 

Day 6. Arandu–Tsas Chumic

Trek to Tsas Chumic (6 hours)   3300m, Tents 

Day 7. Tsas Chumic–Bolocho

Trek to Bolocho (5-6 hours) 3750m, Tents 

Day 8. Bolocho–Spantik Base Camp

Trek to Spantik Base Camp (5-6 hours)   4160m Tents

Day 9. Spantik BC

Free day at base camp Participants can take leisurely walks around the base camp, admire the beautiful mountain views, 4160m, Tents 

Day 10. Spantik–Chumic

Trek to Tsas Chumic   3300m, Tents 

Day 11. Chumic–Arandu 

Trek to Arandu  3165m, Tents 

Day 12. Arandu–Skardu

Drive to Skardu  2228m ,Hotel

Day 13. Skardu–Islamabad

Visiting to Taxila. Hotel

Day 14. Hotel–Airport

Home bound flight
