Mr. Ashraf Aman – Founder

One of the founding members of ATP and tourism in Pakistan. Mr. Aman is also the first Pakistani to climb K2, the second-highest mountain in the world. During his school years, back in 1962, he was awarded the “Himalayan Tiger” by the German Mountaineering team for his important role in attempting Nanga Parbat summit, a famous mountain in Pakistan.

He has received the “Pride of Performance” award from the President of Pakistan, one of the highest medals of Honor in the country. In 1999, he also received the “Uno Dei Cento” (1 in 100) award in Milan, Italy, and a number of other international awards for his work. Ashraf has had a keen interest in hiking and adventure from an early age. With over 45 years of experience in the field of travel and tourism management, he specializes in adventure tourism.

For all of his professional life, he has tirelessly organized tours and adventures to remote destinations in the country. His vast experience in mountaineering and adventure travel, provided Ashraf the expertise to coordinate a wide variety of tours and lead Adventure Tours Pakistan, accommodating every client’s needs.

Mr. Naiknaam Karim – CEO

Naiknam is a renowned travel and tourism professional with Master of Science degree in Tourism Management and Planning from Bournemouth University in the United Kingdom. He has extensive experience in the tourism business with areas of expertise including operation management, human resources

Management, finance, marketing, planning, and research. He is a target-oriented professional, a strategic planner, and a resilient crisis manager.

Naiknam also holds several certificates and diplomas from national and international institutions, which he leverages as an innovative, proactive, and forward thinking CEO.

Naiknam has conducted research to explore the environmental impact of trekking groups and mountaineering expeditions on the Baltoro region and presented his recommendations to policy makers and environmental managers for the betterment of the environment and mitigating the negative impact on the local region.
